October 17th, 2008Flash Player 10 out now: full 3D model in FP10 and some waves
Flash Player 10 is out now!
Official release:
Adobe Flash Player version 10.0.12.36
You can download it here.
We did some tests with the new 3D features, Pixelbender and Filereference and it’s pretty amazing.
Frederik did a complete 3D model and sinus wave only with the new API.
No Papervision or any other external libraries. No tricks up our sleeves…
The 3D rabbit + pixelbender. Click+drag to rotate.

Please enable Javascript and Flash to view this Flash video.
The sinuswave. Click+drag to move the camere. Click the ’select texture’ button which uses the new filereference to upload your own picture.
It’s so easy!

Good times ahead indeed. Stay tuned for more experiments the coming weeks.
Enjoy FP10!
