Plugg, a one day conference focused on raising global awareness for European start-ups in the Web / Mobile 2.0 field.
I am glad that someone finally has the courage to take the initiative to start a conference on this level in Belgium. Surrounding countries (Holland, Germany, France) already are way ahead of us with some very nice events. So thumbs up for Robin.
A nice list of speakers has been gathered already: Mike Butcher (TechCrunch UK), Bart Becks (World famous in Europe with his work for Belgacom, Skynet and ProSiebenSat 1), Reshma Sahoni (Seedcamp), and many more.
During the conference, web2.0 start ups will be able to showcase and present their business ideas and realizations. Personally I find this a very nice way to get acquainted with the way of how these start ups start and evolve. I am really curious to see which companies will present themselves and in which area the work. I have no clue about how many web2.0 start-ups there are in Belgium. (heck web2.0, what in a name.)
Follow the conference updates via twitter.com/plugg or the Plugg Blog.
And don’t forget to register.
